Learn More About Our Process

We only work on Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit vans with a production year of 2017 or later. There are certain situations in which we may choose to do a one-off conversion but we tend to stay in these lanes. Feel free to reach out with any questions though. If we can help you, we may know someone who can.

Many people rent their vans out through sites like Outdoorsy.com. Similar to house rentals, the website provides the platform (and insurance) for renters to find and book your van. This is a great way to have your van provide some extra income when you’re not enjoying it yourself!

Ask us more about this or check out our own rental page here.

We’re pretty excited to finally start building our smart modular homes! You can visit the link here to pre-order your home for $99 (refundable). We will start production Summer 2023. By placing your deposit down, you will have access to exclusive features and content as we share details about the homes and the capabilities.

We do not currently offer financing but we are working on partnering with the right company.

In the meantime, we do accept most forms of payment, including cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, LTC, TetherUSD).

We accept most forms of payment (Credit Card, ACH, Zelle, Cash), including cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, LTC, TetherUSD) via Coinbase Commerce.

Our conversion costs vary but we start out at $45k and go up to $80k (not including the van).

After every potential customer fills out a quote request, if you need help finding a van, we will absolutely help with that! Even if we’re not the company to convert it. We’ll find you up to three options and even test drive for you as well ($100 fee over 20 miles away).

For our weekenders, it currently takes about 2-3 months to complete. A weekender build usually includes a toilet, refrigerator and sleeping area.

For full live-in builds, it can be 4-6 months for completion. With live-in builds, these usually include bathrooms with showers, kitchens, larger refrigerators and more sleeping room.

You do not have to be based in Southern California for us to build a van conversion for you. We have built for customers in Miami, New York and San Francisco.

No, we do not use any generators in our builds. All of our builds are solar powered with the occasional propane powered water heater or stove top.

Our process is usually done in four phases with the first phase being deposit and ordering components. The deposit to get started is typically 25% of the total project cost.

For any changes during the project, we will provide an addendum and invoice (parts and labor) that you approve, along with payment due immediately for that change.

All deposits are non-refundable unless agreed upon prior to starting work.

No, all deposits are non-refundable unless agreed upon before work begins. Deposit cover more than labor and materials. They cover our time to be available to actually perform the work as well.

However, if you decide you are postponing your build or something in your life has caused a delay in continuing the build, we will always honor your deposit with a credit to continue building when you’re ready.
